Be the energy you want to attract

Reflecting back on last year, I realise more and more that what I sent out into the world came back to me. Perhaps the "downs" we experience in life are the ones that we have created ourselves in the first place. Dealing with emotions, such as, anxiety, stress and depression makes us feel that we live in a world where only bad things happen to us and to everyone around us. Once you have created this energy, you will find yourself inside of it. Stuck. Stuck in the "downs" of life. However, the way out is the way in. When you are dealing with negative thoughts go back to your Self. Take a step back and detach from whatever emotion you are dealing with. Get closer to the core of who you are, pure, eternal and unconditional love - not defined by any human emotions. When you are there, and feel feelings flowing back in your mind, then choose kindness. Yoga and India taught me to kill feelings of anger, sadness, dissatisfaction or any other “negative” feeling in life with kindness.
Kindness can be anything; it can be simple “hello" or "hola” to a stranger. Kindness can start with a smile, telling a loved one how proud you are of them, thanking someone for their help. I have noticed how much positive energy I received by starting with small kind gestures. Just think about it; changing the world starts with YOU. Be the energy you want to attract. Be the energy you want to sent into this world. Be the the healing energy for yourself and others around you. Start your day with small gestures; because the small ones will have an enormous effect. Start your day with being kind.
