Being OK in Imperfection

Isn't life just a string of memories and moments? How is next year going to be "different" or "better" than this year if life is not solid but rather waves that vary in time. You were taught that being in the ocean was about sinking or swimming. You were pushed to move on and overcome all the hurdles on your way to the shore. What if you'll never reach the soil of the Earth? Yet, my dear you peddle so hard that you fall prey to fatigue and depression and sink and sink. You wake up frightened how low you've gone and again don't trust in Nature. What if I tell you that this life is imperfect, just like your mind. Your strength and resilience will do nothing for you my dear when you think of it as being physically and mentally able to overcome challenge. Being OK in imperfection is about letting go. Being OK with imperfection is about to just BE. Being OK with imperfection is offering no resistance to the waves of the ocean, its ebb and flow but to float. Now, look at me and hold your head up high - laugh out loud, clap, dance and let your heart fill up with unconditional and unattached love. Break that bubble you've placed yourself in. Let your body dance on the rhythm of life.
Imperfection is this body, mind, soul, ego - everything that is not Brahman. Now when you realise this, let the mind turn into it's true nature - the Divine - Pure Consciousness. This Awareness innately desires to experience itself in the form of particular objects, and thus willingly descends from the expanded subjectivity of the cetana state. In the act of perceiving a particular object, whether an external sensory perception (like the color blue), or an internal feeling-state (like happiness), awareness partially takes on the qualities of that object, mirroring it. The important thing to realize here is that the mind will always be coloured by the qualities of whatever it perceives; and if there is identification with that mind-state, or resistance to it, it becomes “sticky” and leaves an impression. The collection of these impressions forms our constructed sense of Self. However, if there is no identification, and no resistance, then when any given object has been fully experienced, the mind releases it and dissolves back into pure awareness (if only for a moment). That is its nature, to always return to its Source.
Every day of the year, draw yourself back - to the colours of your own limitless Being. The Divine. Pure Consciousnesses. You are not your incapability to walk again. This heart that is broken and has left you never belonged to you. This sadness nor happiness is not yours nor you.
Lots of love and light to each one of you,
Fariha
