Anxiety is not one word; it consists of different things. Basically, emotions that build up like a cheese ball into the word “anxiety” – and this ball is bouncing like crazy asking for your attention. We often try to hide “anxiety” under a rug telling ourselves that we are fine whilst at the same time random unresolved emotions pop up. You keep telling yourself; I am FINE, absolutely FINE! I CAN DO THIS…how many times have you done this? Before you know you’re in a rolling coaster heading towards a town called “Break Down”. Let me tell you this is not a fun town to be in.

So what am I trying to say here? I will give you one word “Acceptance”. How do you deal with unresolved issues; from heartbreak to loss and work stress? It all starts with “Acceptance.”

First, you start with accepting your feelings; the cheese pieces. They are there and they are REAL. Do no try to hide them under a rug, it is not a place where they are meant to be. Now lie down, close your eyes and put your hand on your heart. Focus on your heartbeat. Do you hear it? It is loud and clear or perhaps soft and slow? Acknowledge its strength. How it pumps blood to your organs all day and every day. Your heart does not have a “day off”. If this would be the case then everything would collapse. Of course, on some days our heart beats faster than other days. But do you see that it never stops beating. It has a drive and desire for life. It is beating for you. Live – stay alive, it tells you. I am working for you so that you have the opportunity to take everything from what life has to offer you. Do you feel and realise? Let this thought be enough for today. Your.Heart. Beating.For.You. Pure and unconditional love, I would say. There is no love alike this.

Now slowly shift your focus away from your mind, whatever it wants you to focus on, return focus back to life. You have survived emotions, situations and also this bundle of cheese will dissolve. This shall pass – your mind created “anxiety” o let you know that the bundle of cheese is getting bigger and bigger. Start accepting the situations that trigger the emotions and finally let the bundle of cheese dissolve. It does not serve your heart, who works hard to keep you alive, and ultimately you.

Namaste
